The building, which stands in Leipziger Platz, in a historic area of the city, follows the previous location of the famous Wertheim department store. Built following a competition won in 2002 by Tchoban Voss, this new shopping center creates the necessary connection between the entertainment and shopping district west of Potsdamer Platz and the luxury boutiques found along Friedrichstrasse.
The building complex increases the attractiveness of the area thanks to the development of a functional mix that involves integrating the commercial spaces with a hotel and some living spaces.
It is an exclusive and new shopping centre that overlooks Potsdamer Platz and contains 270 shops, a must for a trendy shopping and entertainment experience for those who live and work in Berlin.
